Anyone know what causes VS to add the mapping tag to Typescript generated pages ?

e.g: //# sourceMappingURL=models.js.map

In Web Essentiials options I have JavaScript/Create source map files = False - and no maps files are generated. No relevant options appear in the TypeScript pane.

'Build' doesn't add the tag. When I publish to a local server the tag isn't added but when I publish to an Azure web site it's suddenly there - which produces 404's since the *.js.map file doesn't exist.

Not the end of the world. But annoying - I hate seeing red text in dev tools :-}
