I'm exaggerating a bit on the 30 seconds, but JB and I definitely have different views on service. But I agree, if things are slow and we're not being acknowledged, that does irritate me.

Actually what bugs me more is getting orders wrong. I hate onions and always make sure I order something without onions, and sometimes they get it wrong. For whatever reasons, it happens more often when the server writes down an order, versus when they memorize it without writing. Don't know why. (I realize it might not be the server's fault. )
