Forget my other message. It was a stupid answer!!!

Which is your active project? Which one appears in bold?

I am pretty sure that it is your ActiveX Control project. Change it to your test project (Set as startup from the context menu) and you be able to test it.

I think this is a new feature to VB6 to be capable of launching an ActiveX control directly.
