I was in LV in October 2003 with my wife and our youngest son. A week earlier we had to decide what show we wanted to watch, the decision was between David Copperfield's magic show or Siegfried & Roy's tiger show. We chose David Copperfield, and saw a great show, where my wife was called on stage and received a kiss on her chin from David. When we came back to our hotel and turned on the TV, the headline news was that Roy was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, after one of the tigers had attacked him. Since exactly that show was our second choice, we considered ourselves lucky.

I saw Siegfried and Roy back in 1994. Back then the tickets were almost $100 each. I can't imagine what they cost in 2003!
