>>>>>>You still hear it. I was at the ballgame the other week. A guy behind us was there with his 3-year-old, who was behaving like a 3-year-old. Someone behind them leaned over and told him "big boys don't cry." Had it been a kid in my group, I would have immediately responded both to the kid and the adult. Since it wasn't, with difficulty, I bit my tongue.

They truly don't get it that women before their time didn't have it the same way. In their world girls have the same rights, if not more.

>>>True. My mom was a nurse and that was considered an excellent career for a woman back then.

I meant extra to the addiction, diabetes and prostate problem. (Sad enough) I've noticed this. (Internaly I add up high blood pressure and problems with some fats)

I'm not good in pampering someone in german, forget about english. Except the prostate problem (depends how serious / fast this is) the rest IS for just walk on.
I know a lot of people with diabetes that live for decades with it now. But they are stubborn on there way. The ones that have choosen otherwise - I think you doctor told you. Booze is the same.
Well, you have it hard. But there is still time to change you behaviour. You are on the right way with the alcoholis. Start working on diabetes. Move, run, walk, workout. Give your body a workload. In some sence you are on probation and the sentence is clear. You do not need to be a sportsmen. Just a long stroll with your daughter, story telling, singing, whatever. Daily. (Please, pardon me, but from your pictures it will not hurt her too. So you got double result.)
You can't do much yourself for your prostate - but whatever the medics are doing - normaly a body with a good condition responds better.

Anyway. I wish you the best. I know how a depression feels from inside. I know how sad things could go.
If you feel lonley or sad at your night - it's my day.
