Well, not from day one, as he had a majority in the House and Senate for the first two years.

There is no question that the behavior of Republicans has been bad. But sometimes their "thwarting" has been necessary to keep him from implementing bad ideas. Take immigration and amnesty - in a different time I'd be all for it. But we need massive reform in welfare FIRST before immigration is tackled. (And believe me, I blame George Bush every bit as much as I blame Barack Obama for this mess).

Obama's problems go beyond tactical errors. He is massively inexperienced with even the most fundamental of project management concepts.
