Mitt and company pay a lower tax rate than I do. We need to get back those handouts in a hurry.

Is your income capital/investment income or labor income?

There's a difference between capital/investment income and labor income and how it's taxed. Even many liberals acknowledge that the former should be taxed less then the latter.

(And point of fact, Romney didn't deduct all of his charitable contributions - if he had, his rate would have been lower).

And remember, Obama signed into law the increase in payroll taxes at the beginning of 2013 (sadly, with large support from both sides, which harmed lower middle income Americans) while he also tried to sneak through an Executive Order to give Congress a small pay increase. Our current president slammed the prior president repeatedly for policies that harmed the lower middle class, and yet the same things have occurred under his watch.


And by the way, I didn't see you mention Bill de Blasio and his tax rate in your post. <s>
