VFP does not support ActiveX as well as some other tools do. Some controls just won't work, others require some tweaking. If you've bought the control from someone other than MS, their support people may be able to help you. You can also post a message here or on one of the news groups that outlines exactly the problem you've had using the control. Someone may have already found a workaround.
One pretty common problem is an error when trying to set a property at design time. In this case, just set all your properties at run-time. You may also wan't to search the MS knowledge base (support.microsoft.com). There may be an article about using the control with VFP.
