We are planning to add functionality in our program to create reminders. At first thought I would create a table with the reminder information, date and time and status. But there is of course no limit how far the functionality can go, like adding the reminder automatically to the outlook calendar, or Blackberry, or whatever, so it can get pretty complicated. Perhaps someone did a similar task already and has some ideas or input, or perhaps third party tools that could simplify the coding? My plan is to make something solid and user friendly. Any input is highly appreciated.
