Has anybody else ever had this problem?

When I make any changes to a FORM in my application, if I then run the app, VFP6 will sometimes freeze and sometimes not. The keyboard will freeze, mouse, and even the clock. The harddrive, however, seems to be running. The HD light is going on and off intermittently. I can never see any signs of writting so I assume that it is reading. I have let the computer stay frozen for up to 15 min. with the HD doing it's thing but nothing ever happens so I eventually have to turn the computer off and re-start it.

The changes that I make are not in any one particular form nor are they necessarily major changes. It can be something so simple as adding a comment line. The freezes to be random, occuring about 60-70% of the time. The freezes also occure at random places in my app's startup process. I have tried to eliminate as much of the startup processes as possible only to have it then start freezing after making a menu choice.

If I quit VFP and then restart and then run my app, everythng works fine. I have studied the .pjx file as much as visually possible and everything seems in order. I have packed the project and done everything else I can think of but I still have to quit VFP in order to run my app after changes or run the risk of having to go through a complete re-boot.

help would be greatly appreciated.
