>>>Seriously though there's a real clamp on media in Serbia - horrendous fines are being imposed on publishers etc for saying too much. Viva la internet.
>>>I'm sure he'll be back real soon.

>>I noted that he popped in today. Didn't hear from him though (at least, not yet, haven't checked the threads). Dragan, if you're out there, you're missed.

Dragan, I appreciate the humor, but given the conditions in your part of the world, I wouldn't want to be the one to have said that. Glad to see, however, that you've kept your sense of humor, my friend.

>We've finally got a local provider, so I don't have to dial long distance anymore and wait for low-rate hours, and curse both Bell and Pupin for making phone lines so, ahem, reliable.

That's good news. Hope to see more of you around here in the future.

>BTW, Mihailo Pupin was born around here, in a village nearby; one of my customers there has an accountant, who lives in Pupin's house of birth (a cottage in the garden, actually). And guess what, he's got no phone :)

I wonder if this would qualify as a definition of "irony".:-)
