>>Obama again: “The United States does not have a monopoly on crazy people. It's not the only country that has psychosis... and yet we kill each other in these mass shootings at rates that are exponentially higher than anyplace else. Well, what's the difference? The difference is, is that these guys can stack up a bunch of ammunition in their houses. And that's sort of par for the course.”

>California opted for Conan the Barbarian, aka The Terminator.
>The super bowl has become a national ritual. Take a close look at what happens in an NFL game.
>Reagan said, half in jest, that he wished he could hire Rambo to do some jobs for him.
>This is a violent place. Crazy people here are more likely to do violent things than they are in say, Switzerland, because violence is a basic fact of life here.

Its not for nothing that countries like Switzerland and Finland top the chart of gun related deaths in Europe. Their rates are still several times higher (e.g. more than 10 times as high as in the UK) than the average. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate

Also, I consider the fact that you're living in a violen society, is party due to the level of availability of guns.
