That's a good insight, Nicholas.
That happened with smoking. It wasn't just the young people. People in general decided, despite the billions spent by the tobacco industry to prove the contrary, that smoking didn't make sense and there was a gradual cultural shift away from it.
As a former smoker who enjoyed every cigarette I ever smoked, (my practical nature compelled me to give it up many years ago when the prices went wild) I can relate to the people who huddle outside buildings in the rain and snow to have a couple of drags.
Haranguing law-abiding gun owners, like haranguing smokers, is divisive, rude and futile. People need to make up their own minds.
