Al, what are you laughing about?

The government can collect revenue through a national sales tax, without the need for an increasingly corrupt IRS.

A national sales tax of about 20% on purchases of new goods and services, excluding necessities through a monthly universal prebate to ensure that each family unit can consume tax free at or beyond the poverty level, would eliminate the need for the IRS. If you want to read more, check out FairTax.org. I truly hope that the continued exposure of the IRS as blatantly corrupt will lead Congress to consider this.

(Contrary to popular belief, a national sales tax needn't be thought of as regressive)
