Hi Marshall:

I've tested GETFILE() creating a new file with Windows File Explorer called "nuevo" without extension, and GETFILE() shows it, selects it and displays it.

? GETFILE() && I select "nuevo" from directory C:\DESA\FOXUNIT

And I can see this on screen:

C:\DESA\FOXUNIT\NUEVO.

I'm using VFP 9.
