Is there any estimate on the number of cities and/or counties which have decided to issue their own local currency? The half-silent news seem to pop up every now and then, so I'm having trouble estimating the size of the phenomenon. And it doesn't seem to be generational at all. The dividing line is between those who have found a way to escape the shackles of paper(less) money and those who haven't.
