I've inherited an application where most of the tables have IDX rather than CDX files. (First time I've seen IDXs in at least 15 years, maybe 20.) I know all the good reasons to change them. What I'm looking for are the traps I need to avoid if I do so.

I can start the list:

1) Need to change USE commands to eliminate INDEX clause
2) Need to change SET INDEX to SET ORDER

Anybody have experience with what else I'm likely to break if I do this? Not sure whether it matters, but the code in the app is in FoxPro 1 style (though I'm starting to introduce some new forms). Also, the app has SET COMPATIBLE ON.
