Moving a VFP 6/Windows XP Application to VFP 9 SP1/Windows 7 and seeing some strange behavior.

An IMPORT from a {Excel 1997/2003 Spreadsheet} TYPE XL8 command which ran fine on VFP 6/Windows XP runs in the Development Environment but consistently crashes when Compiled - a Program has Stopped Working dialog followed by an Internal Consistency Error Message Box.

Anyone else had this experience?
