I work in healthcare for a healthcare insurance company - so I see the REAL numbers and I can tell you that if anyone thinks the number is less they're full of sh_t....at least as far as this one particular company...and I don't see how this would be different for any other ones. Furthermore adults are not the only ones who need health insurance - what about all the kids? It's just another attempt by some idiot republicans being paid off by some lobbyist / big insurance corps who's goal is to make money by screwing people. Best example of that is the pre-existing conditions thing.
Timeout - this started because I was pointing out what I thought was a simple misquote from Bill.
I think for the record - most people agree there are more who have insurance now, as compared to 2-3 years ago. I also think that's not a compelling figure in itself. Plus, each year the administration continues to increase their projections on the # of people who will still be uninsured. So the fact that more have insurance, in itself is not compelling and is not interesting.
