I truly believe that your average Democrat wouldn't find anything wrong with their political opponents being singled out by the IRS, and would not hold Obama personally accountable if he were participating.

I thought about this more last night. I think with some you might be right. It's hard to define an "average" anything, but I can see where you're coming from. You can see the deflection here in some of these conversations on the topic, and I think some of his supporters might use the same tactic (e.g. but the past president did the same thing). As our parents used to say, "two wrongs don't make a right"
