I'm assuming that you're running Crystal Reports on a machine that can address a 32 bit ODBC connection. If not, you can't access VFP tables. Search around and you'll find out how to create the 32 bit connection on a Win 7 machine. I've done it but I've lost the information.
Once you connect, you can create SQL queries just like the ones in VFP in Crystal Reports that will join, filter, etc and then you can concentrate on creating the report.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
