Let me guess - it's now bundled with Windows?

IE has about the worst record among MS products. Usually they get their act together around 3.0. IE was still doing many things wrong up to 8.0 or thereabouts.

I have closed my account at a bank when I discovered their web interface works only in IE, because it didn't work. Even today, I use IE only when I must - and that's not on my machine.
