UAC won't come into play unless you try to install something on the user's computer. Regular websites are sandboxed inside IE and are very restricted from what they can do.
>If I am the only one having this issue, and this IE action has to negotiate with the UAC or the account itself, the timeframe when it started would match the timeframe when I started to have all kind of problems about the c:\Users directory being bounced off to the virtual disk D: drive. As IE might have to write under that root on such action, that might explain a lot of things.
