Yeah right. Considering the SWAT teams in the USA (and the police in general for that matter) have become so militarized with weapons and tanks etc etc you'd think that ..ummm..some oversight might be a good idea. I can't come up with any positive reason these groups should be immune to oversight ...what possible benefit is there to the citizens? Plus the track record for the Massachusetts SWAT Teams is rather shaky at best. It looks to me like it's just some cops trying to get out of being held responsible for some of the stupid mistakes they make and at the same time hide these mistakes from the public. What a load of b.s.
