>>>And even if they wanted to start at zero, they didn't have a zero in the number set in those days! (Well the Sumerians might have had a zero, can't be sure). So now we've got negative numbers we don't need BC right? :-)
>>>Still, a great excuse to party. And believe me, Sydney will have the biggest!

>Ahhhh the Olympics. Winning that baby was a real treat!
>A two week stay, well Josh, *that* might just test the wife's patience a little :-) ; but hey, a few nights would be cool (I mean it). We're actually in Newcastle which is a freeway drive 110km to Sydney. That "close" in Aus. terms.
David,
Thanks for the offer. I don't know if I'll make it to the games, but I'd sure love to. My in-laws live in Atlanta so we went in '96. It was a truly amazing experience. I recommend that you take the two weeks off and mortgage the house to buy as big a stack of tickets as you can. I especially recommend the atheletics sessions. Some of the less popular sports like water polo, team handball, and even weight lifting were fun too, though. The only problem is that I'm now hooked and it's not quite as convenient most years as it was in '96!
Of course I would also love to see Sydney. A friend of mine was there in August and said it was one of the friendliest places he'd ever been.
