I have a VFP 5 table that is part of a DBC
and contains approximately 7.4 million records
(I can see the # records from a VFP dir command).
I have made sure by going to the NT server that
no one has the table opened. When I attempt to
open the table either EXCLUSIVEly or SHARED, I
get the following error message:
Index does not match the table. Delete
the index file and recreate the index.
I deleted the associated CDX file and continue
to get this error.
The trouble occured this weekend after I issued
the PACK command and ran out of disk space. Any
ideas on how to salvage this 575 MB table?
When I run a Validate Database, I get the following
error:
Need EXCLUSIVE writeable access to rebuild structural index.
Object #1002 (table 'u10bill'): Cannot open table 'f:
\uspc\data\u10bill.dbf'.
Any ideas?
