1. Change ExactMatch input type to button and make sure this.form.submit() is included in the onclick event code. Set name and value attributes to the submit button, a key/value pair will be posted to the form action so that you'll know the user pressed it instead of the ExactMatch.
2. Probably a style issue, can't figure why the display acts the way you describe. You could try to put both buttons in a table and different rows, if everything else fails...
