>Hi Barry, you mentioned that the DLL files are copied from the server. I would check if the DLL is blocked. From Explorer, right click the file, select Properties...is there an Unblock button on the General tab?
Hi Frank
Thanks for your input. No unblock button on the General tab. The DLL files were just put on the server from my development PC so that I could get easy access to them when copying them to the clients.
Incidentally, do you know if the tlb and vbr files that VFP produces when buiding a DLL need to be available in the same directory that the DLL is in on the clients? Or is it jus the DLL that is needed.
thanks
Barry
