The minimum wage IS NOT a livable wage and has not been for a long time - long before Obama.

IMHO, minimum wage jobs were never meant to provide a living for a family of four. These kinds of jobs are meant as entry level jobs to the work force for teenagers and college students and retired people who greet you at Walmart to supplement their social security and get them out of the house.
