Exactly. There was a report on NPR this morning about the joblessness rate for those between 16-24, nearly 40%. There biggest complaint is that there are no jobs out there, which is a result of the economic downturn and raising minimum wages around the country to 15$. That's 30,000 /yr for a 16 y/o. Not bad.
LOL!!!! My first job when I was 16 was working in a bakery making $1.60 per hour and I was happy to have it. I also had waitressing jobs when I was working my way through school that only paid me $1 per hour but the tips more than made up for it.
The problem these days is that so many people feel that the world owes them something. Stephen Crane had it right.
