You can't. But you can save your current location first, CD to where it wants, and CD back to your saved location when it exits.

I'm not using it, but I've seen similar behavior with a few other external apps which get called - IExplorer when used for preview and print, also in some situations Crystal Reports 10 (or was it when you export to PDF and then the PDF viewer changes your location). So in general, when calling an external app which may change my location I do exactly this.
