>>The reason I chose one that talked about "US imperialism" - as Ayn Rand once said, it is sometimes interesting to adopt the enemy's stance for a little while,

What enemy would that be?

>> I generally don't try to dissect another country's political culture, but it is rather obvious your Prime Minister is similar to the way TV's Doctor House describes most modern Christians - he can pray to ideals all he wants, but when he crosses the street we both know he looks both ways.

Technically the PM is Jewish (mother was a refugee from Nazi Austria) - not that it matters in this context. Apart from that, not sure of your point- FWIW he grew up in a solo parent home but ended up running a merchant bank's currency trading in London and New York, amassing a modest fortune before taking on what he saw as a duty to the State. In earlier years he commented that he donates much of his parliamentary salary to charity but refuses to discuss "irrelevancies" like that today. Not sure whether you know, but he has a holiday home in Hawaii and plays a bit of golf.

Plus he has a kiwi sense of humour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aM4MH-15YA&feature=kp

>>So speaking of pitchforks that you seem to have a penchant for inciting,

By this logic, you're inciting the ruin of the US health system and economy every time you cry "Obama." ;-)

Re the latest from your buddies in Fiji: earlier this year the strongman's son defied him by eloping with Miss Teen Idaho USA, and now the son has beaten her up. "... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
