Please understand that all these guys are way better than I ever thought of being. They run for 90 or 120 minutes just like the players and are supposed to see everything that happens anywhere on the field. It's really an impossible job.

You remember wrong. There wasn't a turkish referee at 2010. Last turkish referee before Cuneyt Cakir was Dogan Babacan at 1974. :)

Cuney Cakir is one of the best referee of the world. He's a UEFA elite category referee...
