Great quotes!

I will still be cheering for Argentina on Sunday but now I am torn. Out of the blue I ran into an old soccer pal on Facebook. His name is Erich Freiberger and from the name you can guess who he will be cheering for. He was truly my inspiration in AYSO. Unlike me, he played the game and was very good at it. He was the coach administrator when I was the referee administrator. His youngest daughter Kate played with my younger daughter Emily and was a welcome guest at our house. He told me the German phrase for "the aerial game", which I have forgotten, and explained why Miroslav Klose epitomized it. Klose has been around so long he's still around. (Yogi Berra, please pick up your page). We reminisced about the old days, which is something I normally avoid. I am still cheering for Argentina on Sunday but at least I will be happy for someone either way.
