I am positive as the component is a DLL so it needs to be hosted. When I start my COM+ applications I see in the Component Services console, in Running Services that it is running and it has a PID in parenthesis, and when I check said PID with Task Manager or SysInternals Process Explorer it is always a DLLHost.EXE (COM Surrogate) that is running
