OK, I think I know the problem, now I need to find why and the solution.

I based my class on a generic class that I created long ago, COMBase, in this class I access a table with general information, and although I access the table using \\server\share it seems as this does not work, even thou the user do have access to this share (in fact both accounts I am using are admins in that server) (I remove the dodefault() in my class and I can instantiate the object alright, of course it fails later, but at least I think I have a lead)

Well, I was wrong, I was able to open the table, it is something else
