>>Hey all

>>I stopped trying for FoxPro MVP after the second time I got it, because I was told they were retiring it for FoxPro. I just went to
http://www.mvps.org/links.html#VFP and I'm wondering 1 - why is there any list at all if it's retired and 2 - is that list current? Some of them are not even doing VFP anymore.

>Don't worry about it, Mike. I was a 5 time MVP, back when there were only a few a year, and I have let it go other than a very nice MVP plaque on the bookshelf behind my desk. My love of software development has not receded. It's just different tools now. I am sure grateful to be in a business where the ground is always shifting and there are always new things to learn and exploit. FWIW my flavors of the day are angular.js and node.js.
I'm not worrying about it. I'm trying to have a source of knowledgeable people. I'm interested in Kraken.js.
