Me: "I'm sure they were just borrowing it to look at it"
Katy: "No, Dada, they stole it"
Me: "Well, were there more flowers outside you could pick?"

Me: "Katy, can I watch something on TV now?"
Katy: "No, dada, I'm watching Sprout. You can watch baseball on your iPad"

After me finally winning a game of CandyLand

Katy: "Dada, that's not fair, I want to win"
Me: "Katy, you won five games in a row, you shouldn't get upset because I won a single game"
Katy: "IT'S NOT FAIR! I want to win!!!"
Me: "Katy, aren't you just happy that someone is playing a game with you?"

Katy (after seeing a Yo Gabba Gabba live performance in San Diego on TV): "Dada, I want you to take us to San Diego. Can we go tomorrow?"
Me: "Katy, that's really far away"
Katy: "But...but you fly to Las Vegas and Michigan"
