Walter, I'm trying to keep this low key and trying to stick to the facts. Jos spoke about the high death ratio (and it certainly is high). I hate seeing this in any part of the world. But the conclusion from the numbers (maybe not by Jos, but certainly by others in the world) is to demonize Israel. There are several reasons for the ratios and I listed some of the key ones - including the fact that many of the civilian deaths are directly attributed to the actions of Hamas themselves.

The problem historically with "keeping the peace" is which side usually elects to break the peace.
