As I read it she wasn't calling Israelis scum. She was calling the people who regard bombing of civilians as a spectator sport to be enjoyed with a few drinks and some popcorn on high ground overlooking the Gaza strip and then threaten her for reporting on them scum> And I'd completely agree with her.
