The one I am enjoying at the moment is "The Bourne Identity," the original starring Matt Damon. It's entertaining and exotic, a true suspense story. A man with no recollection of who he is, a tempest at sea. John Cheever wrote that if you are going to write fiction you should write about tempests at sea. (He wrote about anything but is arguably the best short story writer of the 20th century).

I watched this 1988 version a few weeks ago

It wasn't too bad even though it was a made-for-tv movie - and it followed the book a lot closer.
