What would you suggest as a better alternative for creating automated Crystal reports in Windows 7?

Fox would be nice, but whatever language you favor.

Crystal 7 would also be nice 'cause we have it, but also not necessary to stick with it. Can I update the many reports (with charts and graphs) to a newer Crystal with minimal rewriting?
