>I have just upgraded my XP laptop to W732bit and am reinstalling VFP. I have tried to apply SP2, extracting the 4 required files (plus the readme); have renamed the existing ones and replaced with new ones. On starting VFP I am getting a Resource File Version Mismatch error. If I replace the VFP9.EXE file with the old one (but keeping the new SP2 dlls) it opens OK - but I am sure this will lead to problems. I have removed the SP2 files and repeated the exercise but no success. As this is effectively a new PC and this is the initial install I can not see how I can have any rogue DLLs.

The resource file is simply a DBF called foxuser.dbf. Just delete this file, and a new one will be created for you.
