>>>I have just upgraded my XP laptop to W732bit and am reinstalling VFP. I have tried to apply SP2, extracting the 4 required files (plus the readme); have renamed the existing ones and replaced with new ones. On starting VFP I am getting a Resource File Version Mismatch error. If I replace the VFP9.EXE file with the old one (but keeping the new SP2 dlls) it opens OK - but I am sure this will lead to problems. I have removed the SP2 files and repeated the exercise but no success. As this is effectively a new PC and this is the initial install I can not see how I can have any rogue DLLs.

>Unfortunately, VFP uses term 'Resource File' for 2 different files. In this case it's not foxuser.dbf but VFP9ENU.dll. It calso could be language specific DLL if OS language is not English. In any case message means that VFP9.EXE and VFP9ENU.dll have different version
Sergey,
Copied the VFP9ENU.DLL from my desktop to my laptop and the vfp9 sp2 is not working.
Thank you very much as always!
Barry Sutton.
