I don't know. It keeps the less talented among us and their families from abject poverty. You are a very smart lady and I gather you have always been able to make a good living. It isn't that way for everyone. Do you prescribe an Ayn Rand world where the more talented do well and the rest can go hang? That isn't a decent society IMO.
