>>>>>Hi,

If you look at the attached image you will see that the Detail band is narrower than header and the rest of the report. There is also a vertical line on the right of the Detail band that I cannot "move." And I can't seem to find how a way to make the Detail band the same width as the rest of the report.

>>>Thank you for your input. But I don't understand what setting to check. If I extend the entire Detail band vertically (making it larger), I see a solid vertical line on the right.
>>>But I cannot find the way to get rid of it or move it. And I can't fine the way to change the width of the Detail band. So I am not sure which "column" you mean.

>>Hi,
>>Open your report (modi report) right click in the grey area next to the report, you will be presented with a menu, click on last item Properties, you will than be presented with a form like on attached file ReportProperties.png. This report has colums (2) with a width of 678, so look at attached file Report.png it shows similar like your picture.
>>Now before you mess around be sure to have the reportfiles backedup!

>I think I understand your point now. Even though I have one column I can change the width. And in fact if I change the width in the properties, the Detail band becomes wider. The only possible "problem" is that mysterious vertical line is still visible but now outside (to the right) of the report Detail band. I hope it will not message up in the print out.
>Again, thank you.
