Hi Jayesh,

Actually it is a true combobox class. If I look at its BaseClass it says Combobox. The myform.mycombo.text1. reference occured when coded directly into a combobox and when saved in a combobox class. I think VFP is doing a little slight-of-hand behind the scenes for the combobox's functionality and that's where the text1 object is coming from. Thanks for the reply though.
