Hi Gerhard,
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/worksheet-compatibility-issues-HA010172659.aspxYour "excel output" has rows more then 65536. XFRX use Excel COM for saving to xls and default format is XLS (Excel 97-2003).
Because XFRX 14.x - 15.0 has bug ( XFRX#LISTENER use always plain mode for XLS/XLSPLAIN - ignore SHEET_PER_PAGE) it's way using XFRX#INIT.
Another way is upgrade to 15.0.3 and use NATIVE_FXLSX output (MS Excel 2007).

>>>Hello,
>>>
>>>I use XFRX version 14.5. When creating an XLS from a report I get a problem like that:
>>>
>>>EXCEL warns, that there are „massive losses saving as XLS” (translated as good as I know from German ;-)). If my app is used in fullscreen, which normally is the case, the message is not coming to the front and therefore it looks like the app is hanging.
>>>
>>>The real solution to the problem would be to create a XLS_X_. But I do not find a way to achieve this.
>>>
>>>Any idea what to do here would be appreciated.
>>>
>>>TIA
