Honest mistake, the upgrade was from 2003 to 2007 not 2010
if the same applies, it did not work.
modifying the code to
o=createobject("outlook.application.12") or 13
gave the error CLASS definition outlook.application.12 not found
as for the other alternative, i never worked with registries before, more help will be appreciated.
