Create a one-time program for a view that goes field by field, tests for the existence of that field on the back-end (in case it's a calculated field as stated) and sets the Caption to the back-end caption? Seems to me that it wouldn't be too hard to do.

I've tried various methods using dbgetprop() etc.. but without a great deal of success ( e.g. it bombs with calculated fields )
